Return Policy

We want every customer to feel comfortable trying our journal and Companion Notebook. This policy explains how returns and cancellations work, and what to expect at each step.
1. Companion Notebook returns
You may return an unopened Companion Notebook within thirty calendar days of delivery for a full refund of the product price. The notebook must arrive at our studio in re-sellable condition with the original wrapping intact.
1.1 How to start a return
- Write to us through the Contacts page with your order number.
- We will email you a return label within two business days.
- Drop the package at any Canada Post location.
- We will issue the refund within seven business days of receiving the notebook.
1.2 Damaged or incorrect items
If your notebook arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please write to us within seven days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement at no cost.
2. Digital plan cancellations
You can cancel a monthly or yearly plan at any time from your account page. There are no cancellation fees. Your plan remains active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
2.1 Refunds for digital plans
If you cancel a yearly plan within fourteen days of the first purchase or the most recent renewal, write to us and we will issue a full refund. After that window, refunds are offered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
3. Account closure and data export
You can close your journal account from the settings page. Before doing so, you may export your entries as a PDF or as a structured file. We will permanently delete your account and journal contents within thirty days of closure, except where Canadian law requires us to retain billing records.
4. Shipping costs
Shipping costs for the Companion Notebook are not refunded unless the return is the result of an error on our side. Outbound shipping rates are shown at checkout and depend on your destination within Canada.
5. Currency
All transactions are processed in Canadian dollars. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method.
